what we do.

  • newborn care.

So, they just send you home from the hospital with no baby training? Even with tons of preparation, all of it seems to go out the window when it happens. This is the cream of the crop of our subscription service. We are on-demand to help you with mess-free diaper changing tips, baby’s first bath, normal newborn skin changes, safe sleep recommendations, when to call your pediatrician, reading baby cues, and more. Any of those burning questions you just need to have answered right then and there.

  • breastfeeding.

Nope, it’s not natural or easy like they say it is. We can help you with latching, optimal positioning, under or oversupply, engorgement care, nipple care, hand expression, how to nurse on the go, and how to build up a freezer stash if you desire.

  • pumping.

Whether you are an exclusive pumper or an every once in awhile gal, pumping comes with a lot of baggage. In the NICU, we help exclusively pumping moms initiate and maintain milk supply for months on end. We use all this knowledge to meet you where you are. We can guide you on obtaining a pump through insurance, flange sizing, preparing for back to work, achievable routines, and increasing milk supply.

  • bottle feeding.

Is it bottle refusal? Is it bottle preference? Is it colic or gas? We work daily with premature infants who are not born with the coordination to suck, swallow, and breathe. We have the hands-on experience and a few tricks up our sleeves to help your infant take a bottle.

  • sleeping.

This is a huge one for new parents. Any bit of shut-eye is a treasure in the early days. We talk age-appropriate wake windows, reading infant sleep cues, how to get your baby to stretch their night sleep, and learn healthy sleep habits. We’re big Moms on Call fans for the structure it provides, but we know from experience it takes a unique blend to find your sweet spot.

  • registry review.

The product options are endless (& overwhelming!). Let us help you with our tried and true favorites. We have a comprehensive table of product recommendations in all price ranges. We can offer a review of your registry and provide a checklist so you don’t accidentally forget the diapers.

  • travel.

After many planes, trains, and automobiles with a baby in tow, we got the travel day down pat. Strollers, carseats, checking bags, and what to carry-on. The TSA regulations on liquids & milk for babies. Let us talk you through tips pre-security, how to get a car seat to your destination safe and sound, and how to help your baby with regulating in altitude.

  • transitions.

The transition to parenthood can be incredibly raw in all iterations of the word. We feel passionate about providing emotional support to new parents with a non-judgemental approach. We can also support baby transitions like dropping the swaddle or transitioning out of the SNOO.

  • & beyond...

If your baby is a bit older, we can still help you out. Think things like starting solids, weaning bottles or nursing sessions, & sleep training. If its something out of our realm, we will point you in the right direction at no charge.
